Authenticity is at the heart of everything we do; from our Teak décor sourced from Thailand to our traditional all-female, all-Thai kitchen, led by Head Chef Sanguan Parr, who has been with us for over 25 years. For this, we proudly hold the Signature Thai Select Award from the Thai Government.
We are now open on Saturdays from 12.30pm – 2.30pm offering a Khantoke lunch menu alongside a special selection of our most-loved A La Carte dishes. Khantoke is a style of Thai family dining originating in Northern Thailand, where a selection of their most loved dishes are served on the Khantoke platter for all to enjoy. It’s the perfect way to share your favourite dishes with your favourite people.

We are pleased to offer birthday and anniversary arrangements, and we can accommodate almost any dietary requests. Special menus and table cards for groups are provided free of charge. Our Pastry chefs can also prepare delicious cakes to your taste (must be ordered in advance). Simply contact dine@royallancaster.com to specify your needs and enquire about pricing.
The restaurant is fully accessible to those with impaired mobility thanks to a lift taking guests directly from the ground floor (hotel lobby, free access from street level) to the first floor where Nipa Thai is located. The restaurant is also fully accessible to guests with other disabilities.

Private parties are welcome – with exclusive use of the restaurant available for groups between 40 and 55 people. Numbers below these can also hire the space for a private dining experience (T&C apply). Smaller parties are also welcome to enjoy their meal in the restaurant at an allocated table, without room hire. We regret to inform that there are no private/sectioned areas within any of our restaurants.
